Have you ever been to an event where the transitions are not smooth, and the overall presentation isn't impressive? Don't you hate that?
Steve believes that every event should run smoothly. As a production manager, he believes that it is critical that schedules, reports, and all details are properly mapped, planned, and executed.
Steve's background as a musician, audio engineer, coupled with experience in scenic design, scenic lighting, and personnel management gives him the tools necessary to manage events that look and sound impressive.
Steve worked as the assistant production manager at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia. Steve served as the interim production manger twice. While working at Shenandoah Steve managed a crew of work-study students and 2 practicum classes that produced events in Armstrong Concert Hall, Goodson Chapel and Recital Hall, and other venues both on and off campus. Steve was the stage manager for ticketed events in Armstrong and Goodson from 2010-2015, and has managed performances by the Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra, Doc Severinsen, and performances in the Performing Arts Live and World of the Piano series.
Steve also served as the stage manager / logistics coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Music Invitational (2013,2014 & 2015).
