Steven Cusick

Steven Cusick is a production manager with experience ranging from classical music performances to theatre to summer camp. Currently, Steve is the Director of Programs at Friends School of Baltimore. Responsibilities include a robust after school program, a popular sports clinic program, and assisting with other operations of the Auxiliary Enterprises Office. Previously, Steve served as the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Facilities Coordinator at St. John's Parish Day School in Ellicott City, Maryland where he was responsible for before and after school Child Care, managing the school's academic enrichment program, maintaining the school's master calendar, and managing facilities usage by outside groups. 

Additionally Steve is currently the Director of Day Camps at Summer at Friends in Baltimore, Maryland.  As a graduate student, Steve served as the graduate assistant production manager at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia.

Steve is holds  masters of science degree in Performing Arts Leadership
and Management from Shenandoah University and a Bachelors of Music in Music Production and Recording Technology from Shenandoah Conservatory. While at Shenandoah he studied euphonium under Michael Bunn, and served as the principle in the Shenandoah Conservatory Wind Ensemble during the 2011-2012 performance season. Steven studied recording with Daniel Shores, Golder O’Neill and Adam Olson and has completed numerous on-locations recordings of recitals, wind ensembles, orchestras, and jazz ensembles. Cusick also served as the live-sound technician for the Shenandoah Wind Ensemble (2011-2013) and as the mixing engineer for Shenandoah Conservatory’s collegiate premiere of Green Day’s American Idiot.

Steven served as the third director of the Shenandoah University Buzzin’ Dozen Pep Band. Prior to his appointment as the director in spring 2012,
Steven served as the assistant director under Joseph Hilling. 

In his role as the Director of Day Camps, Steven works with campers ages 4-13, and helps administer approximately 150 paid and volunteer camp staff. From 2009-2019, Steve worked as the Assistant Director of Day Camps at Summer at Friends camp in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to 2009 Steve worked with Summer at Friend's Robots & Rocket's program.
